In South Aveyron at Lucante, Marcel Muller’s pottery.

What is the worst advice you’ve heard?

“Don’t go into ceramics, it’s a difficult job and it’s hard to succeed.”

Most beautiful moment during the creative process?

When I open my kiln.

What doesn’t inspire you?

Everything that is too figurative.

What are you proud of?

My journey to get where I am, and my determination.

Who would you like to meet or who would you like to work with?

Auguste Rodin.

Clay.

What would you have done, if not this?

I would have worked with wood or been a drummer.

When was your biggest moment of doubt?

Every day.

Who is your biggest supporter?

My mom.
