RUTH EN DE MOOIE MAKERS is een project van schrijfster Ruth Van de steene. Het idee ontstond in 2017 vanuit het besef dat er enorm veel getalenteerde makers bestaan met interessante verhalen. Dat kunnen illustrators zijn, schrijvers, fotografen, keramisten, muzikanten, meubelmakers …

Deze website probeert een soort achter de schermen, achter de schoonheid te zijn. Een manier om niet alleen het werk van makers te leren kennen, maar ook een glimp van de mens zelf op te vangen. Wie weet inspireert het wel.

RUTH AND THE BEAUTIFUL MAKERS is a project by Belgian writer Ruth Van de steene. The idea arose in 2017 from realizing that there are so many talented makers with interesting stories. These makers can be illustrators, writers, designers, photographers, musicians, furniture makers …

This website tries to be a sort of behind the scenes, behind the beauty. A way to not only get to know the work of artists, but also to catch a glimpse of the human behind the work. Who knows, it might even inspire others to pursue their passions.
