Where did it all begin?
In Oslo, on my dining table.
What is the worst advice you’ve heard?
Get a real job.
Most beautiful moment during the creative process?
When an idea comes to you and it somehow describes how you feel.
What doesn’t inspire you?
I am not very political, my work is mainly personal. Inspired by my moods, my travels, interiors, etc. But it is impossible to say that something doesn’t inspire me. That is the beauty of visual arts. It makes everything interesting, because everything can potentially be a source of inspiration.
What are you proud of?
It is hard to be proud of anything because I always was a very privileged person. But I would say that I am glad to be independent.
Who would you like to meet or who would you like to work with?
Many people, but on the top of my mind, I would love to work with the Brand Pura Utz.
Favorite material?
These days, Acryla Gouache from Holbein.
What would you have done, if not this?
I’d like to think that I would be a private investigator.
When was your biggest moment of doubt?
When I had a job.
Who is your biggest supporter?
My parents!
Favorite image?
I try not to have favorite things, but I really like this picture by Matias Alonso Revelli. His whole account is a source of inspiration for me.
What is to you, the most beautiful sentence?
That is too much of a hard question, but I recently read this quote that talked to me: “Inspiration exists, but it must find you working”
It seems to be from Picasso, but you never know on the internet.
What do you still want to do?
I’d love to have a clothing brand someday, something simple that would still allow me to work on my own.
Where do you work?
